Keys to Drugs

The majority of young people do not use illegal drugs. However, use does increase from the age of 11 years upwards. A balanced, co-ordinated and cohesive programme of drug education is essential for young people at this stage. This resource provides ten easy to use sessions covering key issues about drugs following the ASK model: attitudes; skills development; and knowledge and understanding. All pupil/student sheets are in large font, with a FREE CD Rom. The approach enables schools to deliver the main aspects of drugs education as recommended by all the major guidance documents for schools.
